Description
The issue is related to multiple buffer overflows that allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This can be achieved through specific FTP commands, such as an FTP command with a large string followed by the RMD command with a long string, or by using a globbing ("*") character followed by a long string.
Recommendations
For versions 3.6.1 and earlier, update to a version that fixes the buffer overflow issues to prevent remote code execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
