| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
FlatNuke versions 2.5.5 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information. This can be achieved by using either a null byte or an MS-DOS device name, such as AUX, CON, PRN, COM1, or LPT1, in the
mod parameter.Recommendations
For FlatNuke versions 2.5.5 and earlier, consider restricting access to the
mod parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using MS-DOS device names or null bytes in this parameter until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
