Description The issue is a stack-based buffer overflow in the ACE archive decompression library. This occurs when compressed file scanning is enabled and an ACE archive containing a file with a long filename is processed. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For ViRobot Expert version 4.0, update the ACE archive decompression library to prevent the stack-based buffer overflow. For Advanced Server, Linux Server version 2.0, and LiveCall, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
