7.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
BFCommand & Control Server Manager BFCC versions 1.22 A and earlier
BFCommand & Control Server Manager BFVCC versions 2.14 B and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to bypass administrative restrictions by utilizing a modified client, as the server relies on the client to enforce permissions and perform actions such as disconnections.
Recommendations
For BFCC versions 1.22 A and earlier, consider implementing server-side permission enforcement to restrict unauthorized actions.
For BFVCC versions 2.14 B and earlier, restrict access to administrative functions until a proper fix is applied.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling remote access to the server until a patch is available.
