CVE-2005-2813

CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions FlatNuke versions 2.5.6 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files. This is achieved by using ".." sequences and "%00" (trailing null byte) characters in the id parameter to the 'read mod' in "index.php".
Recommendations For FlatNuke versions 2.5.6 and earlier, consider restricting access to the 'read mod' in index.php until a fix is available. Avoid using the id parameter with ".." sequences and "%00" characters in the affected API endpoint. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
