CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions vBulletin versions prior to 3.0.9
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via several API endpoints, including "joinrequests.php" using the request parameter, "user.php" using the limitnumber or limitstart parameters, "usertitle.php", or "usertools.php".
Recommendations For versions prior to 3.0.9, update to version 3.0.9 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the mentioned API endpoints until the update is applied. Avoid using the request, limitnumber, and limitstart parameters in the affected endpoints until the issue is resolved.
