Description
The issue in fs/exec.c might allow local users to cause a denial of service (deadlock) by forcing a core dump when a traced thread is in the TASK TRACED state, specifically when one thread is tracing another thread that shares the same memory map.
Recommendations
For Linux version 2.6, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
