| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
phpMyAdmin versions prior to 2.6.4-pl3
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via certain arguments to specific API endpoints, including "left.php", "queryframe.php", or "server databases.php".
Recommendations
For versions prior to 2.6.4-pl3, update to version 2.6.4-pl3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the affected API endpoints until a patch is applied. Avoid using user-supplied input in the affected arguments to minimize the risk of exploitation.
