CVE-2005-3880

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Omnistar KBase versions 4.0 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via the article id parameter in "users/comments.php", and the category id and id parameters in "users/kb.php".
Recommendations For Omnistar KBase versions 4.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the "users/comments.php" and "users/kb.php" scripts until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the article id, category id, and id parameters in the affected scripts. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
