Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Softbiz FAQ Script versions 1.1 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via the
id parameter in various API endpoints, including "index.php", "faq qanda.php", "refer friend.php", "print article.php", or "add comment.php".Recommendations
For Softbiz FAQ Script versions 1.1 and earlier, consider restricting access to the
id parameter in the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the id parameter in "index.php", "faq qanda.php", "refer friend.php", "print article.php", or "add comment.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
