The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via the
categoryid, entryid, year, month, and day parameters in the index.php file.Recommendations
For PluggedOut Blog versions 1.9.5 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the index.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the parameters
categoryid, entryid, year, month, and day in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
