Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTML and web script via vulnerable parameters to the search.asp endpoint. Specifically, the parameters L, sort, category, and categoryname are affected. This could lead to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

Recommendations For NetAuctionHelp versions 3.0 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the search.asp endpoint until a patch is available.
