Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
ezDatabase versions 2.1.2 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to include arbitrary local files via ".." sequences in the
p parameter of the index.php file, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive data.Recommendations
For ezDatabase versions 2.1.2 and earlier, consider restricting access to the index.php file until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the
p parameter in the index.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
