| Vector | AV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Beehive Forum versions 0.6.2 and earlier
Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the
Name, Description, and Comment fields to "links.php" and "links add.php" API endpoints.Recommendations
For Beehive Forum versions 0.6.2 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting user input in the
Name, Description, and Comment fields to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using these fields in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
