CVE-2005-4469

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PHPGedView versions 3.3.7 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code. This can be achieved via the username field in "login.php", or the user language, user email, and user gedcomid parameters in "login register.php", which are directly inserted into "authenticate.php".
Recommendations For PHPGedView versions 3.3.7 and earlier, consider disabling the login functionality until a patch is available. Restrict access to "login.php" and "login register.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the username, user language, user email, and user gedcomid parameters in the affected scripts until the issue is resolved.
