Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
PHP-Fusion versions 6.00.200 through 6.00.300
Description
The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. Specifically, the vulnerabilities can be exploited via the
sortby parameter in the "members.php" endpoint and through IMG tags.Recommendations
For PHP-Fusion versions 6.00.200 through 6.00.300, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
members.php endpoint and avoiding the use of the sortby parameter until a patch is available. Additionally, restrict the use of IMG tags to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
