Description The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the archive decompression library, specifically in the vrAZMain.dll file version 5.8.22.137. This library is used in several HAURI anti-virus products. The buffer overflow can be triggered by an ALZ archive containing a file with a long filename, allowing user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For ViRobot Expert version 4.0, update the vrAZMain.dll file to a version that is not vulnerable to the buffer overflow. For ViRobot Advanced Server, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. For HAURI LiveCall, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
