Description:
The issue allows local users to cause a denial of service, resulting in memory corruption or a crash, via a crafted outbound packet. This occurs when non-linear SKBs (socket buffers) are used, causing an incorrect offset to be calculated from pointer arithmetic in the
ip nat pptp function.Recommendations:
For Linux kernel versions prior to the fixed version, apply the necessary patch to resolve the issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
