Description The issue concerns a problem with the Graphics Rendering Engine (GRE) that can be exploited by remote attackers. They can cause memory corruption and a denial of service (crash) by using a WMF file. This file must contain either ExtCreateRegion or ExtEscape function calls, but with arguments of inconsistent lengths.
