CVE-2006-0317

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions RedKernel Referrer Tracker version 1.1.0-3
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a query string value as a GET, which is stored in the $QUERY STRING variable. This enables attackers to execute malicious scripts on the affected system.
Recommendations For RedKernel Referrer Tracker version 1.1.0-3, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the rkrt stats.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the $QUERY STRING variable in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
