Description
The issue is related to incomplete initialization of a buffer in the kernel before it is made available to userland. This could potentially allow local users to read portions of kernel memory.
Recommendations
For versions 5.4-STABLE through 6.0, update to a version that completely initializes buffers before making them available to userland.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
