| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
CheesyBlog version 1.0
Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the
realname and comment parameters or through a javascript URI in the url parameter when adding a comment.Recommendations
For CheesyBlog version 1.0, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
archive.php file or disabling the comment addition feature until a patch is available. Avoid using the realname and comment parameters in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.Exploit
