CVE-2006-0627
CVSS v2.0
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Clever Copy versions 2.0 through 3.0
Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the
Referer or X-Forwarded-For headers in an HTTP request. This occurs because these headers are not properly handled when the administrator accesses Site Stats.Recommendations
For Clever Copy versions 2.0 through 3.0, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Site Stats feature until a patch is available. Additionally, avoid using the
Referer and X-Forwarded-For headers in HTTP requests to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
