Description The issue allows remote attackers to identify IP addresses that are being simulated using honeyd, due to its handling of certain illegal IP packet fragments. This occurs because Honeyd before version 1.5 replies to these fragments, whereas other IP stack implementations would drop them.

Recommendations For versions prior to 1.5, update to version 1.5 or later to resolve the issue.
