CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PerlBlog versions 1.09b and earlier
Description The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the name and email parameters.
Recommendations For PerlBlog versions 1.09b and earlier, avoid using the name and email parameters in affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting input for the name and email parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
