CVE-2006-0887

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PHPLib versions prior to 7.4a
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code by including a base64-encoded representation of the code in a cookie, specifically when the index.php3 from the PHPLib distribution is available on the server.
Recommendations For versions prior to 7.4a, update to version 7.4a or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the sessions.inc file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the cookie that includes the base64-encoded representation of the code until the issue is resolved.
