Description
A remote code execution issue exists in the way Internet Explorer handles HTML elements with specially crafted tags, leading to memory corruption. This could allow an attacker to construct a malicious Web page that potentially enables remote code execution if a user visits the site. A successful exploitation could grant the attacker complete control of the affected system.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5.01 through 6, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
