CVE-2006-1237

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions DSNewsletter version 1.0
Description The issue concerns SQL injection vulnerabilities. Remote attackers can execute arbitrary SQL commands via the email parameter to specific API endpoints: "include/sub.php", "include/confirm.php", or "include/unconfirm.php". This is particularly problematic when magic quotes gpc is disabled.
Recommendations For DSNewsletter version 1.0, consider disabling the email parameter in the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. Restrict access to "include/sub.php", "include/confirm.php", and "include/unconfirm.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the email parameter in these endpoints until the issue is resolved.
