CVE-2006-1291
CVSS v2.0
7.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
PHP iCalendar versions 2.21 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to upload and execute arbitrary PHP scripts due to a lack of authentication requirement for write access to the calendars directory. This can be achieved via a WebDAV PUT request with a filename containing a .php extension and a trailing null character.
Recommendations
For PHP iCalendar versions 2.21 and earlier, consider implementing authentication for write access to the calendars directory to prevent unauthorized uploads. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the publish.ical.php file until a proper fix is applied.
