CVE-2006-1293

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Contrexx CMS versions 1.0.8 and earlier
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the query string in the PHP SELF variable. This can be achieved by manipulating the query string in the index.php file.
Recommendations For Contrexx CMS versions 1.0.8 and earlier, consider updating to a version later than 1.0.8 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the index.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the PHP SELF variable in the query string until the issue is resolved.
