CVE-2006-1324

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Woltlab Burning Board (wBB) version 2.3.4
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the errormsg parameter when a SQL error is generated. This occurs in the acp/lib/class db mysql.php file.
Recommendations For Woltlab Burning Board (wBB) version 2.3.4, consider restricting access to the errormsg parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the errormsg parameter in situations where SQL errors may be generated until a patch is available.
