CVE-2006-1346

CVSS v2.0

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions gCards versions 1.45 and earlier
Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files. This is achieved by using directory traversal sequences in a lang[*][file] parameter. An example of exploitation is injecting PHP sequences into an Apache access log file, which is then included by index.php.
Recommendations For gCards versions 1.45 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the inc/setLang.php file and avoid using the lang[*][file] parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
