Description:
The issue allows local users to cause a crash, resulting in a segmentation fault, by defining and executing a recursive function. It has been reported that some later versions may also be affected.
Recommendations:
For PHP version 4.4.2, avoid using recursive functions to prevent crashes.
For PHP version 5.1.2, consider restricting the execution of recursive functions until a fix is available.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
