CVE-2006-1641

CVSS v2.0

5.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: CzarNews version 1.14
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via the usern or passw parameters to "cn auth.php", the s parameter to "news.php", or the a parameter to "dpost.php".
Recommendations: For CzarNews version 1.14, consider restricting access to the "cn auth.php", "news.php", and "dpost.php" scripts until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the usern, passw, s, and a parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.
