Description:
The issue is related to a CRLF injection vulnerability in the index.php file. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject HTTP headers via hex-encoded CRLF sequences in the
type parameter.Recommendations:
For phpMyForum version 4.0, consider restricting access to the
type parameter in the index.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the type parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
