CVE-2006-1778

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Simplog versions 0.9.2 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via several parameters in different PHP files, including the blogid parameter in "index.php" and "archive.php", the m and y parameters in "archive.php", and the sql parameter in "server.php".
Recommendations For Simplog versions 0.9.2 and earlier, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters blogid, m, y, and sql in the respective PHP files until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using these parameters in the affected API endpoints.
