CVE-2006-1826
CVSS v2.0
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Snipe Gallery versions 3.1.4 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the
gallery id parameter in "view.php", the keyword parameter in "search.php", and the image id parameter in "image.php". It is possible that some vectors are resultant from SQL injection.Recommendations
For Snipe Gallery versions 3.1.4 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters
gallery id, keyword, and image id in their respective PHP files until a patch is available. Avoid using these parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.XSS
