CVE-2006-2104

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Kamgaing Email System (kmail) versions 2.3 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This can be achieved via several parameters, including the d parameter to "main.php", ordner parameter to "main.php" or "webdisk.php", draft parameter to "compose.php", or the m or y parameters to "calendar.php".
Recommendations For Kamgaing Email System (kmail) versions 2.3 and earlier, consider disabling access to the vulnerable parameters, such as d, ordner, draft, m, and y, in their respective scripts until a patch is available. Restrict input to these parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
