CVE-2006-2105

CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Jupiter CMS versions 1.1.4 through 1.1.5
Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to read arbitrary files. This is achieved by using ".." sequences terminated by a %00 (null) character in the n parameter.
Recommendations For Jupiter CMS versions 1.1.4 and 1.1.5, consider restricting access to the index.php file until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the n parameter in the affected index.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
