CVE-2006-2255

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Creative Community Portal versions 1.1 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via several parameters, including the article id parameter to "ArticleView.php", the forum id parameter to "DiscView.php" or "Discussions.php", the event id parameter to "EventView.php", the AddVote and answer id parameter to "PollResults.php", or the mid parameter to "DiscReply.php".
Recommendations For Creative Community Portal versions 1.1 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters, such as article id, forum id, event id, AddVote, answer id, and mid, until a patch is available. Additionally, restrict access to the affected PHP files, including "ArticleView.php", "DiscView.php", "Discussions.php", "EventView.php", "PollResults.php", and "DiscReply.php", to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
