CVE-2006-2700

CVSS v2.0

5.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Geeklog versions 1.4.0sr2 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands and bypass authentication. This is achieved via the loginname parameter in the admin/auth.inc.php file.
Recommendations For Geeklog versions 1.4.0sr2 and earlier, consider updating to a version later than 1.4.0sr2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the admin/auth.inc.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the loginname parameter in the affected file until the issue is resolved.
