CVE-2006-2734
CVSS v2.0
5.0
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Mini-Nuke versions 2.3 and earlier
Description
The issue makes it easier for remote attackers to conduct password guessing attacks. This is achieved by setting the
guvenlik parameter to the same value as the hidden gguvenlik parameter in the enter.asp file, which bypasses a verification step. The gguvenlik parameter is assumed to be immutable by the attacker.Recommendations
For Mini-Nuke versions 2.3 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
enter.asp file until a patch is available. Avoid using the guvenlik parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
