CVE-2006-2768

CVSS v2.0

5.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions METAjour version 2.1
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code when register globals is enabled. This is achieved via the system path parameter in multiple files across the (a) app/edocument/, (b) app/eproject/, (c) app/erek/, and (d) extension/ directories, as well as the GLOBALS[system path] parameter in the (e) extension/sitemap/sitemap.datatype.php file.
Recommendations For METAjour version 2.1, consider disabling the register globals setting to prevent exploitation. Additionally, restrict access to the system path parameter in the affected directories and files, and avoid using the GLOBALS[system path] parameter in the extension/sitemap/sitemap.datatype.php file until a patch is available.
