CVE-2006-3095

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions iPostMX versions 2.0 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to security breaches. This is achieved via the RETURNURL parameter in specific API endpoints, such as "userlogin.cfm" and "account.cfm".
Recommendations For versions 2.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the RETURNURL parameter in the "userlogin.cfm" and "account.cfm" endpoints until a fix is available. Avoid using the RETURNURL parameter in these endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
