CVE-2006-3138

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions phpMyDirectory versions 10.4.5 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, which can lead to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This is possible via the PIC parameter in "offers-pix.php", the from parameter in "cp/index.php", and the action parameter in "cp/admin index.php".
Recommendations For phpMyDirectory versions 10.4.5 and earlier, update to a version later than 10.4.5 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters PIC, from, and action in the respective files until a patch is available.
