| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
EnergyMech (emech) versions prior to 3.0.2
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a crash, by sending empty IRC CTCP NOTICE messages. This is related to the
parse notice function in TiCPU.Recommendations
For versions prior to 3.0.2, update to version 3.0.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting or disabling the handling of IRC CTCP NOTICE messages to minimize the risk of exploitation.
