Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
F5 Networks FirePass 4100 version 5.x
Description
The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified writable form fields and hidden fields, including authentication frontends.
Recommendations
For F5 Networks FirePass 4100 version 5.x, consider restricting access to writable form fields and hidden fields, especially in authentication frontends, until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, disabling or limiting the use of authentication frontends may help minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
