CVE-2006-4205

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions ProjectButler version 0.8.4
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the rootdir parameter to various scripts, including "/classes/" scripts such as (1) Cache.class.php, (2) Customer.class.php, (3) Performance.class.php, (4) Project.class.php, (5) Representative.class.php, (6) User.class.php, or (7) common.php.
Recommendations For ProjectButler version 0.8.4, consider restricting access to the /classes/ directory and its scripts to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the rootdir parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
