| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jupiter CMS version 1.1.5
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the
template parameter in the index.php file. However, it's noted that the $template variable is defined as a static value before it is referenced in an include statement, which disputes the claim of a remote file inclusion vulnerability.Recommendations
For Jupiter CMS version 1.1.5, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
index.php file or validating the template parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
