CVE-2006-4754
CVSS v2.0
6.8
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
PHProg versions prior to 1.1
Description
The issue is related to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This is achieved via the
album parameter in index.php, which is used in an opendir call. Additionally, the same primary issue can be used for full path disclosure with an invalid parameter, revealing the installation path in an error message.Recommendations
For versions prior to 1.1, update to version 1.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the index.php file or validating and sanitizing the
album parameter to prevent malicious input.Exploit
